Friday- I bought a bookshelf and was bound and determined that I was going to put it together by myself because my husband told me I couldn't do it. Well after a couple minor errors, I got it all together, BY MYSELF! I started putting books on the very bottom shelf and it broke. Are you kidding me ? Just my luck. Lol!
Then I gave up and decided to go take some things to Goodwill for my sister. The lady, Nina, was hateful and rude. Refused to take my sisters stuff because there was too much and she didn't feel like messing with it. My mom and I left it anyways. After arguing with the woman, she finally told us where to put it. Then we watched them take bags of stuff and put it straight in the dumpster. They didn't even look at it. I won't ever take anything to Goodwill again!
Saturday- We went to a tractor pull. It was so hot but we had fun. We love watching Tevon pull his hotrod!
Sunday- My Dad built Tevon a "barn " as part of his Christmas present and we have had to wait until the ground either froze or dried out. Since it never froze we just got to move it this past weekend. It is so cool! Tevon absolutely loves it. He's got to play in it at my parents but now he got to show it off to all his friends. It has a loft with stairs leading up to it. My Dad also built a "safe" in the wall for Tevon. He has a lock with a key on it and thinks he is hot stuff. Lol! He stores his tools in it.
Monday- We went to the Zoo for Scouts with my mother-in-law. It was REALLY hot but we had a good time. I enjoyed talking to my mother-in-law while Tevon played at the water park.
We were able to do all these fun exciting things because of all the soldiers that have given up so much for us! Thank you for everything!

Father's Day Gift Ideas
I am a very crafty person. I love homemade gifts better than store bought things. It's easy to walk through a store and say, "Oh, I can buy that!" rather than thinking, buying for, and making a gift specifically for a person.
With this in mind, I'm already thinking of Father's Day gifts. I would like something different, something we haven't done yet. I have found some really cute picture ideas on Pinterest but haven't found THE gift idea.
What do you do for Father's Day?

Summer!!!!
Well our summer officially started this weekend. Forget the calendar. Lol! We had a very busy last few weeks and Friday at school just zapped me, so we spent the weekend by the pool!
Tevon is doing so much better this year. He is swimming with no life jacket, sometimes no goggles! He is going down the slide by himself! He just grew up this year. I am sad he's growing up so fast but so happy for him too!
Love you Tevon!

Last day of school!
Friday was a bittersweet day for us. It was the last day of school, which is usually pretty exciting, but it was also the last day of St. Aloysius Gonzaga Academy forever. The priest closed the school down. I could spend all day ranting and raving about all that but that's not what this post is about.
It was also sort of exciting for us because when school starts back up we are going to be homeschooling. Tevon and I are both excited to get started on homeschooling.
We are very sad to leave our St. Aloysius family. They have been so wonderful and supportive to our family over the past couple years. They truly are like a family. We are going to miss lot's of friends but hope we can stay in touch with most of them!
