This past week I didn't get to do any blogging because we were at day camp for Cub Scouts all week. And let me tell you when I got home, I was exhausted. It was a lot of fun. The boys were hilarious. I love to watch them as they learn new things and get excited when they realize what they learned. They learned lots of new things this week and earned lots of belt loops, patches, and I believe pins. I can't wait until they get all of the awards at recognition night at the end of the summer.
Saturday morning we left to go on a family camping trip with our Cub Scout pack. There were 5 families camping. It was a lot of fun. We camped at Jellystone and that place was really nice. You can camp with a tent, bring an RV or rent a small cabin. Lots of things to do. They have activities scheduled about once an hour. I highly recommend it to anyone!
Sunday, we got up early, cooked breakfast and then left. We stopped at this mystery house thing. It was pretty neat. Especially since it only costs $1 per adult, $0.50 for children. The floors are slanted pretty steep, so you have trouble walking, but it looks like your walking sideways. It had water running "uphill", balls that would roll "uphill", all because of the slant of the floor. Whew, it would make you dizzy. It was fun!
Then we went canoeing. It was a lot of fun. I'm exhausted today, and a little sore from everything but Tevon had a great time and Michael had a fun adventure for Father's Day.
Time to get things back to normal!
