Landscape Make-over!!!

When we moved into our house 2 1/2 years ago, we HATED the landscaping.  We agreed that we needed to redo it but finding the time was hard and it always got put at the bottom of the to-do list.  Well since I have been staying home, I have to look at it every single day, all day long so... it quickly moved to the TOP! Hooray!!! LOL!  Here are some before pictures:

 

Yuck I know!!! I hate to even show the before pictures but I wanted to show what we were dealing with. So then we took everything out and used the tiller to break up all the dirt. My husband hated that part.

 

Then luckily for me, I have a really good friend that does landscaping for a living.  He work's at Wayne's Lawn Service.  His Dad is Wayne, so it has been instilled in him since birth.  He is really good.  You should check out their work over at www.wayneslawnservice.com.  Well anyways, he came over to my house and helped me pick out plants, helped me figure out how to lay everything out and even met me at the nursery to help me pick out all of the plants and figure up the cost.  Thanks Kyle! You're awesome!!!  So I borrowed Michael's truck and went back to the nursery and got all the plants.

Ok so the pictures do not even do it justice.  I am not a photographer.  If you follow my blog at all, I think you can see that. LOL! But everyday when I walk outside, I get to look at it, and am very, extremely happy with it!
