Fun, Foxy and Fifty!!!!

Friday was my mother's birthday, so on Saturday we threw her a surprise birthday party. Boy was it crazy making sure every detail was taken care of but we made it and had a wonderful time.

My sister and I decided that we needed to throw her a surprise birthday party. We ran, literally (lol), to my Dad with the idea and he was completely on board. The planning began.

We found these wonderful plates, napkins and table covers that said "Fun, Foxy, and Fifty!" They were hot pink, black and zebra print. We fell in love. For the cherry on top, we found them on sale, super cheap online! My kinda party decorations!

Now that this was ordered, my research began. My mom loves to throw parties so the pressure was on to make it a wonderful celebration for her.

My mom's best friend just happened to send me an invite to Pinterest right about the time I was looking for ideas. I ended up making all the decorations, minus the table covers, plates, and napkins for about $20. I can also reuse everything! I also made 50 cupcakes and all the decorations that went on them.

After a few issues with my sister and Dad confusing the times, my mom showed up, completely surprised. We all had a blast!

I love party planning and would love to get into it more. I'm already booked for two parties!
