When I moved into my new house, a friend of mine gave me a computer desk for Tevon's room. Once we moved it in, I realized that it took up too much space in his room. So it took me a while to get creative and come up with an idea to adjust it. This was a big desk, with a top portion that had shelves that took up almost a whole wall beside the door. My Dad came over and helped me take the top portion off. He then used that wood to make a corner desk, the size I wanted. All i had to do was paint it the color i wanted. I finished painting it today. It cost me about $20 for two desks now and i did a small part to reuse. Im going to reuse a few other products to decorate with. Once I get it moved in, I will post pictures of the finished room. The bigger portion of the desk is going in our spare bedroom for my crafting area. Yeah me!!!! I'm excited!
Tevon was working with his tools that my Dad bought him while I was working on the desk, and my Dad was working on the hot rod. It was cute. Tevon even had his hammer hanging from the loop on his pants. My little man!
